REAL ESTATE EXPERIENCE

I have been a licensed real estate broker since 1973 serving my clients’ realty needs in the East Bay cities the entire time. I have served first time buyers, move up buyers and sellers, relocating clients, and seniors who have retired and are re-positioning their housing needs for retirement. In addition I have handled tax deferred exchanges on residential income property.

REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT PHILOSOPHY

I believe real estate is a premier investment vehicle because of the outstanding leverage capability of this type of investment. Whether it is your primary home or income producing property, the holder of real estate can control the whole with a small percentage of their own money. (Example: what could be purchased for $20,000. when I entered the real estate business now costs in excess of $300,000., a multiple of 15 times the original selling price, but the original investment may have been only $4,000. or less.

VOLUNTEER SERVICE TO MY INDUSTRY

I have tried to give back something to the industry that has been my career for so many years. To that end, I have served on the Board of Directors of Bay East Association of REALTORS, was President of the Association in 1994. I have been a director at the California state association level, serving on many of the standing committees. I am also a C.R.S. (Certified Residential Specialist). That is the highest designation awarded to agents by the National Association of REALTORS who specialize in residential real estate.
